 I’m Sylvia Skinner — a primary teacher, principal, and K-12 art specialist with over 35 years of experience. I created I Love To Teach 101 to help educators simplify their workload, bring creativity into the classroom, and support teachers in need in the Solomon Islands.

My husband and I volunteered in the Solomon Islands through Australian Volunteers. During that time, we were also part of a local church community, and together we helped establish a small Christian primary school.

That experience opened my eyes to just how powerful access to resources and simple organisation can be — not just for teachers, but for whole communities. It’s one of the key reasons I started I Love To Teach 101, and why supporting other educators remains close to my heart.
