 I’m Sylvia Skinner — a primary teacher, principal, and K-12 art specialist with over 35 years of experience. I created I Love To Teach 101 to help educators simplify their workload, bring creativity into the classroom, and support teachers in need in the Solomon Islands.

My husband and I spent several years living and serving in the Solomon Islands. He worked as Director of Pharmacy—first through British Aid, then later with Australian Volunteers. During that time, we were also part of a local church community, where we established a Christian primary school.

That experience opened my eyes to just how powerful simple resources and strong organisation can be—not only for teachers, but for entire communities. It’s one of the key reasons I started I Love To Teach 101, and why supporting fellow educators remains close to my heart.
