My Monet Style Watercolour Painting, then I digitally liquified the water to add movement

1. Take a photo of your painting
- Put your painting flat on the table.
- Stand above it.
- Take a clear photo from the top (not from the side).
2. Open Procreate and add your photo
- Open Procreate.
- Tap photo top right
- Find your POND photo.
- Choose your pond photo.
3. Duplicate your photo layer
- Tap the double square icon (Layers).
- Swipe left on the layer with your photo.
- Tap Duplicate (just in case you make a mistake).
4. Select only the water area
- Tap on the photo layer to make sure it’s selected.
- Use your finger or Apple Pencil to draw all the way around just the water area.
- Use a colour to draw with that’s similar to the colours you used to paint it.
- Make sure the water is fully surrounded so only that part will move.
5. Make the water move (Liquify!)
- Tap the magic wand icon at the top.
- Tap Liquify at the bottom of the list.
- Use Push to gently swirl the water.
- Try Twirl or Expand in small amounts.
- Go slow and don’t press too hard.
6. Turn off the selection
- Tap the magic wand icon to stop liquifying.
7. Upload your artwork to Artsonia
- Tap four fingers on the screen to hide the menu.
- Take a screenshot: press the Home button and Top button at the same time.
- Open the Artsonia app.
- Find your class.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Add Art.
- Choose Media Arts Part 1 – Liquify Monet’s pond
- Crop your image if needed, then tap Submit.
- Add a title, then tap Submit.
- Write one sentence about what you did, then tap Submit again.
- For example – I used watercolours to create a painting in Monet style, then I used a app tool called liquify to make the water look like it’s moving – pretty cool . .
