Photographic experiment update blogging

Here’s an easy guide on how to update a blog post on Edublogs that I (Mrs. Skinny) have already set up for you. This will help you write about your photographic experiments:

Step 1: Log In

  • Go to your Edublogs website.
  • Enter your username and password to log in.

Step 2: Go to Your Dashboard

  • Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your dashboard. This is like the control centre for your blog.

Step 3: Find Your Post

  • Go to the “Posts” menu on the left side and click on it.
  • Find the blog post I have set up for you, to write about the experiment you are doing and click on it, to open it.

Step 4: Update the Title

  • At the top, where you see the title, you can change it a little if you want. Just click in the title section and make your edits to reflect your photographic experiment update.

Step 5: Write Your Content

  • I have set up the post with headings like a, b, c, d. Don’t change these subtitles.
  • Below each subtitle, there’s an example of what to write. Read each section and then write what happened in your photographic experiment update in your own words, using the example as a guide.

Step 6: Add Your Photos

  • You need to add your own photos to show what you did and what you found out in your photographic experiment update.
  • To change a photo, click on the current image, then click the “Replace” button, and upload your new photo.

Step 7: Choose Categories and Tags

  • On the right side of your screen, you can add or change the ‘Categories’ and ‘Tags’. These help people find your post when they search for topics like yours.

Step 8: Update the Featured Image

  • On the right side, find the “Featured Image” section and click on it.
  • Change the big feature image to one of your best photos from your photographic experiment update. Just click “Set featured image” and upload your photo.

Step 9: Preview Your Post

  • Before you share your updated post, click on “Preview” to see how it looks.
  • If you need to fix anything, you can go back and edit it.

Step 10: Publish Your Update

  • When everything looks good, click the “Update” button at the top of the editor to share your changes.

Step 11: View Your Post

  • After updating, you can see your post live on your blog by clicking on the link that appears. Check out how your updates look to everyone else!

That’s all you need to do! Just follow these steps to update your blog post with your own experiment details and photos.
