It is so important that we teach the children how to use clay, giving them time to explore, before we expect a final outcome.

Clay Time Tips:
I use a lesson to just let the kids explore. First creating the smoothest balls, then seeing how flat they can make it without tearing, then creating the longest and thinnest sausages. Finally, introducing this word mat. Encourage them to only use their hands before introducing tools later.
